The Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and Herefordshire have a long tradition of brewing and distilling excellence and we are pleased to offer an excellent range of real ales, ciders and perrys sourced within a 30 mile radius of The Inn.
Real Ale and Local Ciders
Kingstone Brewery produces award-winning real ale in Tintern, Monmouthshire, Wales. We have chosen their Classic Bitter for The Inn at Penallt.
Wye Valley Brewery is a friendly, family-run brewery that cares about real ales. The Inn serves the popular Butty Bach, HPA, Wye Valley Bitter and Dorothy Goodbodys.
Tudor Brewery in Abergavenny produce three splendid real ales appealing to all tastes: Skirrid for serious beer lovers, Blorenge for session and lager drinkers and Sugarloaf, a full well-rounded beer.
Gwatkin Cider have been producing award-winning cider and perry for many years at their family run business in Abbey Dore, Herefordshire.
Ty Gwyn Cider (Monmouthshire) is a multi award-winning farm cider company based in the Monnow valley near Monmouth.
The Celt Experience produce a range of organic ales and hand crafted lager. The Celt Experience combines modern brewing equipment with ancient Celtic brewing methods, creating flavoursome and holistic beers.
